Buhoma Lodge is excellently located a five-minute walk away from the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park headquarters where you will begin your gorilla treks.
There are eight cottages dotted along a hillside with stunning views of the forest opposite. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with simple furniture. They all have en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and balconies where you can relax with a coffee in the afternoon enjoying the view.
In the evenings, a fire is lit in the main lodge to keep you warm. The lodge has also started offering massages in your rooms, if you're achy from your trek (payable locally).
