Today, we recommend something more active before the Carnival celebrations begin. Take a hike up Pedra Bonita, a well-known hill which offers beautiful views of the Barra da Tijuca shoreline, the Gavea Stone, and the Tijuca Forest. After a bit of time relaxing and freshening up, Carnival begins! In the evening, you will be transferred to the famous Sambadrome to enjoy the colourful samba parades. (Tickets for the non-numbered bleachers are included, but upgrades are available at an additional cost).
-
After a celebratory evening, this day will be left at leisure for you. This allows you to relax at the beach or simply enjoy the hotel's amenities. If you're up for it, you may wish to head over to a part of the city you haven't yet visited, such as the enchanting Santa Teresa district.

-
