Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tahiti.

  • On arrival, you will be met with a traditional Tahitian greeting and handed your documents before being directed to the domestic terminal next door to check in for your Air Tahiti flight to Moorea. Spend the day at leisure on Moorea, relaxing on the beach or swimming in the lagoon.

  • Relax on Moorea today and enjoy the beautiful coastal and volcanic mountain scenery. There are numerous boat trips and guided 4x4 tours around the island, which can be booked locally and are an excellent introduction to this fascinating landscape.

  • A full day to explore the island. You can hire cars and bicycles but the best way to reach the viewpoints is on a 4x4 tour.

  • Spend the morning relaxing in the lagoon, and after lunch, make your way to the cultural village and watch as Polynesian islanders demonstrate traditional carving and weaving techniques. You might like to stay for the evening celebrations, which include a sumptuous feast.

  • Ask at reception if the whales are in migration through the islands, and if so, join a whale-watching tour to see these magnificent creatures close up.

  • This morning, a small coach transfer has been arranged to take you back to the airport for the domestic Air Tahiti flight direct to Bora Bora. On arrival in Bora Bora, you will be greeted by your host or hostess and directed to your hotel transfer. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

  • The InterContinental Resort Le Moana offers a relaxed setting in which to unwind, however, there is a range of water sports and equipment should you wish to be more active. Choose from kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, kitesurfing and even parasailing or, should you wish to find a secluded spot to yourself, you can make use of the outrigger canoes and explore the island's many deserted beaches.

  • A day at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities and perhaps relax by the pool. While the resort does not have spa facilities, there is a free boat shuttle to its sister property, the InterContinental Thalasso, which is just ten minutes away should you choose for some pampering.

  • The InterContinental Resort Le Moana features a coral nursery, which is the perfect spot to see all manner of bright marine life. Snorkelling trips to other top sites can also be arranged locally should you wish to go further afield.

  • A further day to relax at the InterContinental Resort Le Moana. Perhaps you may wish to go beachcombing along the beautiful Matira Beach or don your walking shoes for some hiking on the island.

  • After a morning at leisure, we've arranged for a late afternoon sunset cruise. Sit back with a cocktail and watch the sun go down before returning to the main island for dinner.

  • Spend the last day on the beach watching the boats cross the lagoon as you laze under the palms. Take lunch on the terrace and then have one last swim before the launch to the airport and flight to Tahiti, connecting to your international flight.

  • On-board your international return flight home.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
