Otavalo Market

The market is centred in Otavalo’s Plaza de los Ponchos, although it spills into the surrounding streets especially on Saturdays.

The market features a dazzling array of crafts, textiles and jewellery, all of which are of high quality and good value.

The town itself is low rise, built in the Spanish grid style with various plazas and narrow one way streets, and also has livestock and produce markets. Visit the market with your guide, and also have some time to wander around by yourself.
