Sofitel Legend Santa Clara

The Sofitel Legend Santa Clara is an elegant combination of the past and present. The convent originates from the 17th century when it was inhabited by Clarisas nuns. The building is a beautiful example of Spanish colonial architecture and many of its original features have been preserved to this day.

The rooms have views over the Caribbean Sea, the ancient city of Cartagena or the peaceful internal courtyard and gardens. The hotel has a restaurant with refined and authentic cuisine and the bar is built over an ancient crypt which was the inspiration to Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel "Of Love and other Demons".

If you feel like you deserve some relaxation and serenity then you must make time to visit the hotel's sophisticated spa facilities which is fully equipped to provide only the best beauty care and therapy treatments. If you are feeling more energetic then the gym and pool is where you should be.
