  • On-board your international outbound flight to Adelaide.

  • On arrival in Adelaide, you will be met and have a private transfer to your accommodation in the city. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

  • Enjoy a day around Adelaide. Explore the Central Market and make your way to the beach suburb of Glenelg for a late afternoon seafront walk.

  • Make your way to the car hire depot, where you'll collect your car and head out of the city to the wine-growing region of the Barossa Valley, famed for producing some of Australia's best wines. This drive is approximately one and a half hours. We'll have organised your car to be ready at your closest depot at a convenient time for you. All insurances are included in your car hire package, and satellite navigation is also available upon request.

  • Spend a day around the Barossa Valley. You can visit some local wineries at your own pace or join a local guided tour.

  • Travel south to the pretty town of Port Fairy, a drive of approximately two hours. Spend the afternoon exploring the town centre and its historic buildings.

  • The journey between Port Fairy and Apollo Bay has some of the country's most impressive coastal scenery. Your drive today will take you past the famous Twelve Apostles and other iconic sights of the Great Ocean Road. Whilst the distance of this drive is less than 200 kilometres and you could do it in a morning, we suggest taking your time and making a day of it.

  • Spend today at leisure. Apollo Bay is a great base for exploring some of the nearby attractions, such as Great Otway National Park with its beautiful waterfalls and walking opportunities. Alternatively, you may choose to relax and simply enjoy the town's good choice of cafés and restaurants and spend time by the beach.

  • Continue your journey along the Great Ocean Road today on your way to Melbourne. Pass through the pretty town of Lorne and onward to the surf mecca of Torquay before heading inland toward Melbourne. This coastal journey is approximately three and a half hours, but again can easily be extended with some lovely stops en route. Drop your hire car in Melbourne late this afternoon.

  • This morning, take a walking tour of Melbourne's hidden laneways, enjoy lunch on the tour, and then spend the afternoon at leisure.

  • Make your way to the airport this morning in time for your flight to Sydney, a flight of approximately an hour and a half. You will make your way to your hotel in the historic Rocks district. Spend your afternoon exploring your surroundings.

  • Rise early for a fun surfing lesson on the iconic Bondi Beach before enjoying the sights of this cosmopolitan part of the city. Spend the rest of your day at leisure and perhaps go for a walk along the stunning Bondi to Bronte coastal path.

  • Make your way to the car hire depot, where you'll collect your car. All insurances are included in your package, and once again, satellite navigation is available on request. From the city centre of Sydney drive west to the rugged landscapes of the Blue Mountains, a drive of approximately one and a half hours, and check into your accommodation for two nights.

  • The Blue Mountains have a fantastic network of walking trails, and you will join a half-day tour today with a small group and a local guide to get to know the trails and the region intimately.

  • After a morning of relaxation retrace your steps and drive back to Sydney. After dropping off your rental car make your way to your hotel for a final night. Enjoy a performance at the Sydney Opera House this evening to end your trip in style.
