Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa

Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa

Algarve, Portugal

Set in extensive clifftop grounds overlooking the ocean, Vila Vita Parc is an upscale, resort-style property with direct access to a secluded beach. While the amenities, facilities and spacious subtropical gardens suggest a far larger resort, there are only 203 rooms here allowing Vila Vita Parc to maintain excellent service levels and provide a more intimate and sophisticated resort stay.

The property caters for couples and families with accommodation spread across three buildings and a wide variety of activities to suit many interests. The main building and the adult-only Residence have chic, spacious rooms for couples, while the Oasis Parc caters well for families with a children's pool and suites than can accommodate up to four. Decor throughout is bright and contemporary with clean lines, traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles and a comfortable but uncluttered style.

You can choose to do as much or as little as you like while here with plenty of quiet corners to unwind in as well as multiple swimming pools, a large gym, spa, golf, tennis and numerous water sports. There are also six bars and ten restaurants, ranging from casual beachside dining to a fine dining option with two Michelin stars.

OUR OPINION:

The range of facilities at Vila Vita Parc is unrivalled in the area, and we like that they are able to cater equally well to couples and families looking for a sophisticated base.

Rooms

The 203 rooms in Vila Vita Parc are set over three buildings. The Oasis Parc offers several room options which are well-suited to families, while the main building has the character and charm of a private home and the Residence is adults only. All rooms are spacious, with pale, uncluttered contemporary decor with some traditional local touches such as azulejo tiling. Views look out on either the ocean or the gardens, and many rooms also feature balconies or terraces. Comfort and modern conveniences are a priority with free Wi-Fi, interactive TVs, Bluetooth speakers and air conditioning as standard.

Location

Set 45 minutes west of Faro overlooking a stretch of sandy beach, Vila Vita Parc is surrounded by lush gardens and allows guests to enjoy the beauty of the ocean in a quiet, secluded location.

Food and drink

Across the property the ten restaurants and six bars provide a huge variety of choice. Most notable perhaps is the glass-fronted, sea-view Ocean restaurant, which has two Michelin stars, and serves an ever-changing menu featuring local ingredients. Other options range from fine dining to casual seaside fare and offer a number of different cuisines from both Portugal and around the world.

Families

Three kids’ clubs cater to different age ranges to keep younger guests entertained throughout the day. The Ocean Parc area of the property also features a pool specifically for children as well as a playground offering swings, slides and a trampoline area.

Facilities and activities

Guests can take part in a huge variety of activities on site. More active guests can take advantage of tennis, water sports, nearby golf, and a well-appointed gym with a fitness class schedule. Those looking for relaxation can visit the large spa, one of the many pools, both indoor and outdoor, and of course, make use of the direct access to a sandy, secluded beach.
